I don’t need to describe my love for pop punk (the last 2 1/2 years of writing about music has made that clear) and I’m always in the mood for hearing some new bands in the scene. Between You & Me heralds from Australia and their 2021 album Armageddon channels the raw energy of early 2000s skate-punk with a modern twist. I’ve ran a bunch of miles listening to this album what with the anthemic choruses and massive energy. If Neck Deep, Sugarcult, The Starting Line, and The 1975 all had a baby it would sound like these guys. Sign me up all day for this.
