I love a good album story as much as the next guy and The Record Company’s Give It Back To You has a pretty darn good one. The band wrote, recorded, and mixed their debut in the same living room where the band was formed, which is a pretty poetic way to go about things. And the great thing about it is the album did exceptionally well. “Off The Ground” went #1, the album was nominated for a Grammy, the band blew up at Bonnaroo, and the band ended up opening for John Mayer on a tour in 2017. Not bad for a blues rock album recorded in a living room.
