Inhaler’s It Won’t Always Be Like This was a fresh and energetic debut that blends the shimmering synth-pop of the 1980s with the raw edge of modern indie rock, creating a sound that draws on nostalgia while keeping things fresh and new. Drawing clear inspiration from bands like The Killers, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, and U2, the album is packed with soaring choruses, pulsing synth lines, and anthemic guitar hooks are pure festival-ready. Songs like the indisputably fist-pumping title track “It Won’t Always Be Like This” radiate a youthful optimism that makes me feel like I’m two weeks away from summer break and ready to let loose with my friends. The fact that frontman Elijah Hewson is the son of Bono (yes, that Bono) makes even more sense when the band delves into some of their deeper cuts which showcase their knack for moody textures and sing-along anthems.

It Won’t Always Be Like This is simply a fun, electrifying listen that’s perfect for blasting on a summer drive or hitting the pavement at 7am for a morning run.

Standout Songs: “I Won’t Always Be Like This”, “My Honest Face”, “Slide Out The Window”, “A Night On The Floor”, “Who’s Your Money On?”, “Totally”
