Dream Lobby Vol. IV is an album well-suited for hold music around something exciting (think less customer tech support, more booking a travel agency) or elevator music in the lobby at a Las Vegas casino. I’ve actually started leveraging Devin Morrison’s albums as a soundtrack for work when I’m building Powerpoint decks for an upcoming customer call– it gives just enough of that upbeat energy I want on in the background without being distracting. There’s a ton of 90’s R&B and jazz references everywhere that keep things interesting and the electronic drums bring a nice change of pace to those arrangements.
Clocking in at just over 22 minutes it’s a quick listen if you’re looking for background music to match a mood.
Standout Songs: “Victoria Falls”, “Rosemont Villas”
