I remember seeing He Is Legend live with From First To Last shortly after this album was released and being absolutely floored by the energy they brought to their live show. I’ve always been a sucker for southern rock metal and all the epic guitar-driven lead parts that come along with that genre, and this album has that in spades— He Is Legend is best when they let guitarists Adam Tanbouz and McKenzie Bell do the talking and just let it rip.
If you gave me half-time breakdowns, harmonized lead parts, and delay-heavy soaring guitar hooks every day I’d be pretty happy. Therefore, He Is Legend makes me pretty happy. And I’m pretty happy about that.
