The Bronx ‘The Bronx’ (2003)

The Bronx is a shot of adrenaline after getting punched in the face. Pure hardcore punk rock poetry. Besides the fact it’s just a fun as hell 28-minute ride, this album deserves a spin based solely off its killer cover art. It’s one my favorite album covers of all-time because it tells you exactly what the album is all about before you even hear the first note.

There’s nothing subtle about The Bronx. They are in your face and come a mile a minute.

And that’s just the way I like it.

Fun Fact: The Bronx has also released three pure play mariachi albums under the name “Mariachi El Bronx”. And those rip too.

Standout Songs: “Heart Attack American”, “Strobe Life”, “False Alarm”
